Who are we?

We are followers of Jesus looking for God’s direction in finding a church home, a place to grow as His disciples, and from which we can serve the people of Huntsville.

We come from a variety of evangelical or reform backgrounds — Lutheran, Presbyterian, Anglican, Brethren, Pentecostal, Baptist and more — but we all share a love for God’s unchanging Word. As disciples of Jesus, we want to be transformed by it, and see other lives in Huntsville transformed too.

We met for many months to read, pray, and talk. Was it God’s will for us to form a new congregation in Huntsville? We explored many topics related to the potential formation of a congregation, and learned a lot about what a church is and isn’t. And we enjoyed praise and coffee too!

God ultimately led us to realize that we had already become a congregation. It wasn’t a question of whether to start a congregation. Instead, did God want us to continue as a new congregation, or disperse to other excellent congregations around Huntsville?

For right now, God is enabling us to continue worshiping and serving him together as an independent congregation.

What we are committed to

• We will be faithful to scripture
• We will be disciples, and make disciples
• We will be Jesus’ hands and feet in serving our neighbours in Huntsville

Especially if you are not already part of a congregation, you are welcome to join us! Come one time, or any time.
